After 19 editions in the Netherlands, MaterialDistrict is coming to Belgium. And not just anywhere, but to Waagnatie, one of Antwerp’s most iconic old harbor depots, located right on the Scheldt river in the city’s creative hotspot ’t Eilandje.

On 24 and 25 March 2027, this raw and characterful venue will host the very first edition of MaterialDistrict Antwerp: a brand-new spin-off of the successful Dutch event, now tailored to the Belgian design and architecture scene.

It’s the first event of its kind in Antwerp, a large-scale, high-quality showcase for sustainable, innovative and circular materials aimed specifically at architects, interior designers, project developers and builders.

Visitors will experience:
