Could your home do with a side table? Or a wine rack? Or a balcony bar? Make it yourself at Buurman, it’s all about the perfect drinks party!

During this afternoon workshop, you’ll make a small table, a wine rack or a balcony bar from circular materials. There are examples to follow, but you can incorporate your own ideas into the design. You’ll be guided through the options available in the workshop so that you go home with a great finished product.

You’ll start the workshop by selecting and measuring your materials; all reused wood from the Utrecht region. The workshop leader will help you get started and explain which tools you’ll be using.

The crosscut saw, drill and sander will be used under supervision. No experience? Don’t worry, the workshop is suitable for all levels!

The workshop takes place in the Buurman Utrecht workshop in the Werkspoorkwartier. Please note: it can get chilly here, so dress warmly. Parking is available right outside. Also bear in mind that you’ll need to take your finished piece home with you at the end of the day :)

*This workshop is based on the use of pine. If you’d like to use other types of wood, such as oak planks, this is possible at an additional cost.
