Jenga game made from reclaimed skateboards by Skateriors, turning layered deck wood into an awesome playable classic.
This Jenga set started as multiple skateboard decks. Once the boards reached the end of their ride, they were collected and transformed into individual wooden blocks.
Skateboards are built from stacked layers of dyed maple wood. When cut into rectangular pieces, those layers become visible as colourful stripes running through each block. Stacked together, the tower becomes a mix of lines and colours that shifts with every move.
It’s fully playable. Pull a block, place it on top, and watch the tower grow and wobble. At the same time, it works as a strong visual object on a table or shelf when not in use.
Each set has its own mix of colours depending on the skateboards used, which means no two towers look the same.
If you’d like to learn more about how Skateriors reshapes collected skateboard decks into functional design objects, you can explore their full story via the maker page.
Because each block comes from reclaimed skateboards collected at indoor skateparks, colour combinations vary per set. The gameplay stays the same, the look always changes.
