Modular carpet collection made from 100% production waste by Studio Wae, allowing you to design custom rugs and flooring with flexible shapes and colours.
Studio Wae works with production waste from carpet tile manufacturers in the Netherlands. Instead of discarding these high-quality leftover materials, they transform them into modular carpets and flooring systems.
The collection is based on geometric shapes that can be combined into custom compositions. From smaller rugs to full flooring layouts, each project can be configured to fit the space. With a stock of around 30,000 m² in over 500 colours, the possibilities are wide, while still rooted in available material streams.
Because the system is modular, designs can adapt over time. Shapes like City, Boomerang, Polygon, Beo, Lola, Boom and Yuki give structure, while colour combinations define the atmosphere. Studio Wae also developed the WAE design tool, allowing you to build your own configuration before production.
If you’d like to learn more about how Studio Wae collaborates with carpet producers and extends the lifecycle of production waste, you can explore their full story via the maker page.
Because the carpets are made from available production waste, colour availability depends on current stock. The modular system stays consistent, while material combinations can vary per project.
