Description

This keychain started as a bike tire that had already done its job. Instead of ending up as waste, the rubber is cut and reshaped by hand into something small but built for daily use.

The name ‘Tired of New’ says it in a light way. Not everything needs to be brand new to be valuable. The material is tough by nature, made to handle friction and pressure. As a keychain, it keeps that same strength in a compact form.

It’s simple, functional and repairable. No extra layers. Just solid material and a metal ring with a 20 mm diameter to keep your keys together.

If you’d like to learn more about how Roestug works with discarded materials and designs products that stay in use longer, you can explore their full story via the maker page.

Who is this for

  • For people who like everyday items that feel different from the standard shop version
  • For cyclists, fixers and hands-on types who appreciate strong materials that already proved themselves on the road

Out of the ordinary

Because each keychain is cut from worn-out bike tires, the texture and markings vary slightly per piece. The shape stays consistent, but the surface always tells a different story.

Waste Alchemists perspective

The Waste Alchemists movement aims to change perspectives on waste. Products like this show how creativity and care can turn overlooked materials into something useful, joyful, and full of stories. By choosing this product, you help keep valuable materials in use and out of the landfill.
